UKGE 2025 Round Up

The UK Games Expo has finally drawn to a close, and with it I’ve got two extremely tired boys who’ve had an absolutely fantastic weekend. Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone I bumped into from the group – it was so lovely to chat to so many of you. And a massive shoutout to Nicola Asker for setting up the UK Games Expo group chat – it was incredibly useful, and I know loads of people got something out of it.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be posting daily previews for the next week or so, showing off loads of the upcoming games I got to try out at the Expo. I can’t wait to dive into them properly over the next few months.

I also picked up a ton of games I’m really excited to play and even more excited to tell you all about. Pretty much everything you see here will be part of the launch for this year’s Summer Games Festival. Not pictured (but absolutely included) are Gloomies, the full-fat version of Tacta, and indie darling Tachi – which I loved and really hope to get a copy of before it hits Kickstarter.

If there’s anything you’re especially keen to see or hear about sooner, drop me a comment and I’ll try to bump it up the list (The Minecraft games are coming sooner rather than later). A few reviews will be dropping this month ahead of the big kick-off to the Summer of ’64, starting July 1st!
