Colorful game box for "Team 3," featuring three cartoon monkeys with playful expressions, set against a bright pink background. The design includes the game's title and logos of the creators, Matt Fantastic, Alex Cutler, and Reinis Pētersons. Perfect for board game enthusiasts.

Note: This is a short really early legacy review before I started posting longer form review in our Facebook Group.

Today following a long discussion we never answered the question that has plagued mankind since around 4 in the afternoon when I suggested we play “Team 3” as game 9 in our dexterity marathon and Jack(6) took Umbridge saying it wasn’t a dexterity game…

Needless to say we had a lot of fun probably for not the right reasons.

After some discussion and bewildering parenting we decided it counted and our game of Team 3 was afoot.

Now the general premise of Team 3 is simple. One person is blindfolded and it is their task to build the structure. The second player can see the card with the design on but is not allowed to talk. The third player is as Jack described them “the middle monkey”.

You then have to make the structure as quickly as possible.

Issue number 1… the game does not come with a blind fold and I don’t know about you but once you have multiple children having blindfolds littered about the place is a distant memory. So off Daddy pops to his dvd collection and remembers his collectors edition for 1995 critically panned film Showgirls came with a blindfold (my board game collection pales to my dvd collection which sadly is probably worth 99% less than I paid for them all between 1997 and 2007). This is how my 3 year old child ended up wearing a “showgirls” branded blind fold and the less said about that the better. :s

Issue number 2 as you can imagine trying to achieve this with a 3 and 6 year old is nothing short of bonkers and trying to give away concepts is largely impossible.

We had a great time though but I think k the boys were in the right mood to play this as I had snuck home early from work.

More of a team building exercise than a team game but it still provided a giggle as long as the kids are in the right mood.
