Colorful board game box for "KuZooKa" by Leo Colovini, featuring whimsical animal illustrations including a lion, monkey, sloth, and birds, designed for 2 to 4 players aged 10 and up.

So we havn’t had the most succesful bunch of games recently and thank your wallets this isnt going to be much different.

“Kuzooka” is a cooperative push your luck bidding game where you are escaping a zoo that I have been looking forward to and picked up when it hit retail a few weeks ago.

The idea is, as a team, draw a selection of coloured cards in each of your hands. Without talking you then have to bid how many of one particular colour you think there is in total across everyone’s hands.

When a play has pushed the betting as far as they feel they can they then you then try and escape and earn points depending on if you managed to get as far as the place you bet.

You can then buy levels to allow you to draw more cards and some starting. Sounds good…

but…

Jack and I, and eventually Toby worked out that if the first person to bet picks their best card and the the next person adds theirs to that total and the third repeats (plus joint cards unlocked).

So essentially we very quickly worked out how to cheese the game and win everytime in about 3 turns… still in silence…

After that I was already done and it just wasnt that much fun.

What is fun is that it comes with multiple language cards… which is fun

All in all i found this super disappointing, the boys didnt like it and its already on sale.

Def not a recommendation… again… sad times…
