Go Cuckoo

Note: This is a short really early legacy review before I started posting longer form review in our Facebook Group.

The 5th game in our dexterity marathon is Go Cuckoo (or Zum Kuckuck as our German version is named).

The premise is simple. Like Tumble Tree you use the tin and spread out the sticks. You then pick up 1 – 3 sticks depending on the colours you draw and place them across the nest. You then have to place one of your eggs ontop.

If you drop an egg you take one from another player.

First person to lose their eggs has to place Kaley Cuckoo (as we have named her) on the top and of everything holds you win.

It’s a simple game that is easy to understand and quite forgiving (I spend 2 mins on my go and Toby(3) dumps one on top and is fine.

The easiest way to describe it is that it is a reverse Kerplunk where you add the sticks as you go (mental note to play kerplunk like that).

Components are of good quality but I would say the sticks are sharp and I could see them potentially being an eye hazard.

Fun game but I wouldn’t say the best.
