Note: This is a short really early legacy review before I started posting longer form review in our Facebook Group.
Game 6 of our half term shopping spree is Flyin Goblin.
Flying Goblin is a surprisingly complex dexterity game from Iello (parent company of Loki who make group fave SOS Dino).
I sat down with Jack(6) and Toby(3) to play this.
The general concept is using a seesaw you have to fling your goblins at the castle to either land on platforms, land in rooms or knock over other players totems.
You win the game by either being first player to 20 gems (which you can buy, trade with coins or get by landing and hitting specific things) or build your totem (which can be bought in pieces but can also be knocked over by other players).
You have a set of starter goblins which can be added to by purchasing (from coins you also get by landing in places) or landing in areas and different goblins have different powers.
Flinging the goblins is fun and we house rules it that the boys could keep trying till they got it somewhere (some are negatives). Obviously it became apparently fairly quickly that there are little things going everywhere which could result in lost pieces and the pieces are solid wood so there is some risk for injury if you hit it hard enough

Def play on a floor not on a table like we did.
All in all this is a good dexterity game but actually fairly involved. With young kids winning by getting the totems is far easier than getting the gems but I feel this would change with older kids.
Boys enjoyed it but found it a little frustrating and quite hard to be accurate. This lead to a lot of random chance (boys hate luck) and a win by Toby(3).
So yes a game I really enjoyed but not one I think I will get out regularly but something I think is a good idea if you also intend to play with an older group.
