Board game Dice Flick by Rami Gaber, featuring colorful dice on the box cover, suitable for 2-4 players aged 8 and up, with a playtime of 15-25 minutes.

Dice Flick was played by myself, Jack(7) and Toby (4) and Elmy Bear (with Toby acting as his ringer). To be fair this review isn’t going to be super long but longer than 2 lines.

Dice Flick is a fairly simple dice-based dexterity game where on your turn you take 2 dice from a blind bag and try and flick them into a grid. If they go into the gutter you lose the dice.

When they land in the grid you score if you have 3 or more dice of matching colours next to each other (white are wild). There are also stickers on the grid of a coloured 2 that can be used instead.

There are also pink dice that wipe out a line or column of your choosing scoring you more points.

If you get a dice into the middle hole it counts for double and if a dice hits the “+” sign you can take an extra dice.

This takes place over 10 rounds highest score wins. It all works really well and the components are well-made. It’s also relatively cheap and can be picked up for around the £16 mark.

We play with handicaps where Jack has a 1 second-chance if it goes in the gutter and Toby gets 2. This is 100% a house rule but we felt it made it more even and everyone enjoyed it more.

We really like this. It’s a great dexterity game with a decent amount of thought and is quite a lot like a Match 3 puzzle game. Great fun and something you could happily play with non-gaming relatives.
