Colorful board game box for "LOUDS" by Blue Orange Games, featuring children observing cloud shapes. Ideal for family fun, suitable for ages 4 and up, designed for 2-5 players with a quick 10-minute gameplay.

Note: This is a short really early legacy review before I started posting longer form review in our Facebook Group.

Well, I might have found my least favourite game of the Summer so far…

game 38 of the “Bailey family sorta Summer Board Game Bonanza” is “Clouds” played by myself Jack(7) and Toby(4).

I have a few Blue Orange games that come in this box size and generally, they are pretty decent. But Clouds is… well… not one of those.

Clouds is made up of lots of cloud tiles cut in half all of which are shaped like everyday things.

There are 2 versions of the game “competitive or co-op”

In co-op, you lay all of the tiles out on the table and you have 2 minutes to match all of the tiles… that’s the game… Now, apart from a bad game, it’s also an impossible game. We had 3 goes at this and the best we did was 6 in 2 minutes out of a required 15!

The second game essentially involves turning over a card to reveal a picture and the winner is the first to find both halves of the picture… Win and you get the card… and that’s it. First to 5 wins

But what happens if one of you grabs one half of the card and the other grabs the other half?… no idea that isn’t explained in the already minuscule rulebook.

This is not fun, even looking at it as a kid’s game it doesn’t work as the pictures are so similar and specific (especially the back halves of the many animals) that the boys actually found it super hard (as did I).

Worst game I have played all summer.
